“For women and children to be free to fulfill their potential unencumbered by the burdens of fear, threat, and trauma, it is paramount that we address violence at its roots to change behavior and heal our collective culture,” François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of Kering and chairman of the Kering Foundation, said in a statement Thursday.
Since 2008, the Kering Foundation has worked to end gender-based violence and improve the lives of survivors. It partners with local, feminist NGOs in six countries to support survivor-centered services and prevention programs. It also mobilizes its networks to take action and raise awareness and critical additional funds to end violence against women and children.
